Specialty coffee lovers are always on the hunt for the perfect cup, experimenting with different beans, brewing methods, and techniques. Our app is designed to help them document their daily brews, track brewing specs, and refine their craft—all in one beautifully designed, user-friendly platform.
Problem Statement
Precision Brewing, Simplified. Third-wave coffee enthusiasts often struggle to keep track of their brewing experiments, equipment settings, and flavor profiles. Existing solutions like note-taking apps or spreadsheets lack the structure and coffee-specific features needed to make meaningful comparisons. Without a dedicated tool, it’s difficult for users to refine their brewing process over time and consistently achieve their best cup.
Solution Statement
We designed and developed a specialty coffee journal app that allows users to log brews with detailed parameters, track their equipment, and analyze past entries for insights into their brewing patterns. The app features an intuitive interface with rich visuals, customizable logging options, and a seamless experience for both beginners and expert brewers. To enhance the brewing workflow, we incorporated essential tools such as:
- Brew Ratio Calculator to help users achieve the perfect balance between coffee and water.
- Built-in Timer to track brew times with precision.
- Brew Mapping to visualize and analyze past brews for better consistency.
- Equipment Selection to store details of different brewers, grinders, and beans.
Built entirely in FlutterFlow, the app showcases the power of low-code development without compromising on design quality. We leveraged robust custom UI components, smooth animations, and Firebase integration to create a refined, high-performance experience. By pushing the limits of FlutterFlow’s design capabilities, we delivered a product that feels polished and professional while remaining easy to maintain and scale.
